Job summary

Hsmc1 is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to deliver home-based services for families with infants and toddlers. The role requires knowledge of infant-toddler development, collaborative work with community providers, and effective communication skills.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology along with current licensure and experience in pediatric care. This position offers competitive wages, health benefits, and professional development

  • Current licensure in Speech Pathology by the Massachusetts Board.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

  • Provide home-based services across the catchment area.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
  • Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
  • Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
  • Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
  • Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from a graduate program of a college or university.
  • Current licensure in Speech Pathology by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate.
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
