Job summary

ServiceNet’s REACH Early Intervention Program in Hampshire County, MA seeks a Developmental Specialist to support infants and toddlers with developmental delays. The role partners with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based services and parent coaching for diverse families.

The position emphasizes child-centered teaching strategies, program coordination, and ongoing assessment. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; strong field experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred; transcripts must show four approved infant/toddler/family courses.
  • At least 300 documented practicum hours with children under age 5.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a team-based system with therapists, social workers, nurses, and nutritionists.
  • Participate in eligibility assessments for children as required by DPH.
  • Develop and implement teaching strategies promoting developmental progress in young children.
  • Design and execute individualized developmental programs for each child.
  • Serve as a service coordinator addressing family needs and coordinating with medical, social, and educational staff.
