Job summary

Blue River Services, Inc. seeks a First Steps Service Coordinator to provide service coordination for infants and toddlers eligible for Early Intervention services and their families.

You will coordinate evaluations, develop IFSPs, ensure compliance, and support families in accessing services and community resources. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum one year experience with children and families.
• Knowledge of First Steps eligibility criteria, due process and safeguards.
• Understanding of IFSP development and transition requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals within 2 business days and initiate intake procedures.
• Complete data entry and maintain electronic records in EI Hub.
• Conduct intake, obtain informed consent, and explain safeguards and family rights.
• Coordinate evaluations and eligibility determinations within 45 days of referral.
• Develop, review, and implement IFSPs with families and providers.
• Arrange IFSP meetings, annual reviews, and transition conferences.
• Maintain documentation and monthly clinical logs and reports.
