Job summary

Family of Kidz in Baldwin, NY is seeking an Occupational Therapist (EI/CPSE) for early intervention and preschool settings. The role offers a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and a compensation range of $64–$75 per hour, with the position potentially full-time or fee-for-service depending on caseload.

You’ll design therapeutic interventions, conduct EI/CPSE evaluations, collaborate with families and school teams, and maintain accurate attendance and billing logs. NY license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
