Job summary

Family of Kidz in Baldwin, NY seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (EI/CPSE) to design and implement therapeutic interventions for children on caseload. The role includes evaluations, collaboration with families and school teams, and maintaining detailed logs and schedules.

The position may be full-time or fee-for-service with compensation for Early Intervention of $64-$75/hour. A $500 sign-on bonus applies after 90 days with active caseload, plus generous benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have NY State OT license.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with lead supervisors and coordinators.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Attend CPSE/CSE meetings and participate in annual reviews.
