Job summary

Inspira Health Network in New Jersey seeks a qualified early intervention professional to systematically evaluate strengths, needs, and challenges of infants and children, in collaboration with families, as part of the NJ Early Intervention Team. Collaborates with family and IFSP team members to develop an IFSP which incorporates family priorities and data.

You will implement evidence-based instructional practices in the child’s natural environment and provide education, resources, and coaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health, human service, or education field.
• At least one year of documented professional experience with individuals birth to five with developmental delays or disabilities; OR six credits in infant/toddler or early childhood development.
• Certification and/or licensure by the appropriate regulatory agency preferred.
• Knowledge of family centered practices and child growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Systematically evaluates the strengths, needs, preferences, and challenges of infants and children in collaboration with the family.
• Collaborates with family and IFSP Team Members to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan with family priorities and data.
• Implements evidence-based instructional practices in the child’s natural environment.
• Provides education, resources, and coaching to clients, family, caregivers, and health care professionals.
