Job summary

Pillar Care Continuum seeks a compassionate Child Development Specialist for the Early Intervention Program in Northern New Jersey. The role focuses on assessing developmental levels, planning IFSP outcomes, and implementing educational activities for children birth to five with developmental delays.

The position supports families through coordinated therapy services, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health, human services or education field.
• One year of professional experience with birth to five with delays or six credits in infant/early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess developmental levels and IFSPs.
• Create and implement educational activities to meet IFSP outcomes.
• Conduct individual and group educational programs with a team-based approach.
• Attend team meetings and monitor child progress for service planning.
• Provide referrals to therapies and related services as needed.
• Complete and submit required documentation within timelines.
