Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona is hiring Teacher II in our Early Head Start program in Phoenix to support a classroom of eight children and assist a Teacher I. You will foster a safe, engaging learning environment and help implement developmentally appropriate activities.

Required: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; 2+ years of related experience; valid AZ driver’s license and a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility; and preferred Spanish/English bilingual

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required.
• 2+ years of related experience is required.
• Additional requirements include 12 credits related to infant/toddler development OR 480 hours of professional experience with 0-3 age group.
• A clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver’s license.
• Level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Spanish/English bilingual capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fun, positive, safe classroom environment for eight children.
• Supervise and support Teacher I and facilitate activities and independence.
• Document CACFP meals and maintain accurate records.

Education

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

2+ years of related experience

12 credits related to infant/toddler development OR 480 hours of 0-3 experience
