Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Lead Teacher for our Early Head Start program in Phoenix. We offer a supportive environment dedicated to children, families, and our team, with benefits, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth.

The Lead Teacher will plan, assess, and instruct to meet each child’s needs and program requirements, mentor fellow teachers, manage the classroom, and build strong relationships with families to support student success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a preschool classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead Teacher plans, assesses and instructs based on each child's needs and program requirements.
• Create engaging learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation per licensing guidelines.

Early Head Start provides early education for children birth to 3 years old,parent involvementand family support, and comprehensive health and nutrition education for children. The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. As a Lead Teacher, you'll:

• Create! Develop fun,interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool childreninyour class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead onclassroom managementand curriculum implementation,plusbe an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Headstart program requirements.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center's success.

Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:

• Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant/Toddler
