Job summary

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, seeks a dedicated Co-Teacher for the Early Head Start Toddler Classroom at the Pottstown Center. This role partners with a co-teacher to deliver nurturing, relationship-based learning in a supportive environment.

The position emphasizes teamwork, caregiving, and development observation, with a focus on strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Health and safety are priorities.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA credential or willingness to earn it with a free course.
• 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred.
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.

• Partner with a co-teacher to plan and implement lesson plans and activities.

Early Head Start Co-Teacher – Wonderspring – STAR 4 Pottstown Center (Toddler Classroom)

Pay: $17.00 per hour

About the Position

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking dedicated team members to support our Early Head Start program (ages 0-3) at our Pottstown Center.

This role partners with another Co-Teacher to create a nurturing, relationship-based classroom environment.

• Partner with a co-teacher to plan and implement lesson plans and activities


• Share responsibility for all aspects of the classroom, including care, active supervision, and learning experiences.


• Provide responsive caregiving (feeding, diapering, sleep routines)


• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff


• Observe and document children’s development


• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

• Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (or willingness to earn it with a free course)


• 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred
