Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in early childhood education, child development or related field; 2‑3 years related work with young children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of EASTCONN Head Start philosophy and standards.
• Engage with children during activities and supervise learning indoors and outdoors.
• Assist planning activities with the Early Head Start Teacher to meet individual needs.
• Guide classroom projects, centers and family involvement with the Teacher.
• Maintain a safe, developmentally appropriate learning environment.
