Job summary

We Care Daily Clinics in Seattle, WA is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist for Early Engagement. The CPSS will work on a revolving caseload with newly enrolled members within the first 30 days, linking them to initial appointments and engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities include providing person-centered, trauma-informed peer support, maintaining professional boundaries, and documenting services accurately.

Qualifications

WA State Certified Peer Support Specialist credential (DOH) — required or pending by hire.
At least 1 year experience as a certified peer specialist.
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
Self-identify as in recovery or have family experience with mental health/substance use.

Responsibilities

Build recovery-oriented relationships using mutual respect, trust, and lived experience.
Support members in articulating personal goals for recovery and wellness.
Provide trauma-informed, culturally relevant, and non-judgmental peer support.
Facilitate or co-facilitate recovery groups, education sessions, or engagement activities.
Offer harm-reduction resources, information, and linkage to services.
Document services provided in a timely, accurate, and ethical manner.
Maintain peer role boundaries and uphold the DOH Code of Ethics for Certified Peer Counselors.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and advocate for member voice.
