Alpha is seeking a full-time, on-site Early Elementary Teacher (Guides) to coach K-3 students through app-based core learning and targeted literacy sessions. You will diagnose reading gaps, design sequences, and lead daily routines from launch to closing across campuses nationwide.

The role emphasizes continuous data-driven instruction, on-site collaboration, and a commitment to helping every student reach daily goals with a strong literacy focus.

Formación

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or similar settings.
• At least 2 years of reading instruction experience in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, or similar) or a master’s in reading/literacy.
• Comfortable spending about 70% of the day guiding students through app-based learning and 30% on targeted reading sessions.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Coaching students through app-based core learning: spotting gaps, unblocking, and guiding toward daily goals.
• Running targeted structured-literacy sessions with two to four students and diagnosing gaps.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Driving weekly app goals with school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, closing, and reading interventions.
