Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated kitchen and center-support staff member to maintain safe, hygienic kitchen operations and assist with daily center duties. You will help with food preparation, supply orders, and documentation while supporting children and families in a nurturing environment.

The role requires a Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain, and prior institutional cooking experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain.
• At least 1 year of institutional cooking; 2+ years with children desirable.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds; required in some classrooms or kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medication as requested.
• Complete timely documentation according to KinderCare and licensing requirements.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
