Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children across our centers. You will follow menus created by our nutritionist, ensure proper food handling, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring a Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain one, along with a year of cooking experience in institutional settings and a strong ability to work with children and families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates care for children and daily positive impact.
• Follows nutritious menus and safety standards.
• Calculates serving portions and measures accurately.
• Maintains clean, organized kitchen and records.
• Capable of obtaining/holding a Food Handler's License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen equipment, hygiene, and safety.
• Order food and supplies to keep centers stocked.
• Dispense and store medications as required.
• Document activities per KinderCare and licensing rules.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to deliver meals.
