KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Cook to help maintain safe, hygienic kitchen operations and support daily center activities. You will prepare meals, manage supplies, and ensure documentation meets KinderCare and licensing requirements.

The role emphasizes a love for children, allergy awareness, accurate portioning, and teamwork with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Love for children and desire to make a difference daily.
• Familiarity with proper food storage and allergy needs.
• Follow nutritious menus and prepare quantities for center population.
• Basic math for portions and serving sizes.
• Possess a Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain.
• One year of institutional cooking; food ordering experience desirable.
• Two+ years working with children desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medications as requested.
• Complete documentation per KinderCare and licensing requirements.
• Assist with other daily center duties as needed.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
