Job summary

Community Counseling Center, Cape Girardeau, MO seeks an Early Diversion Program Coordinator to lead outreach, supervision, and grant-driven operations. You will oversee a team of Outreach Specialists, ensure SAMHSA grant alignment, and foster collaboration across behavioral health, healthcare, and justice sectors.

You will coordinate coalition activities, map community systems, and strengthen referrals and access to services for adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications

• Masters' Degree in a human services related field, or Bachelor's in a human services field with 3+ years behavioral health experience post-degree.
• Must hold or obtain by start date MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents) and proof of continuous Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for Early Diversion Outreach Specialists, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and annual performance evaluations.
• Oversee the implementation of the Early Diversion Program to meet SAMHSA grant requirements and agency policies.
• Coordinate and facilitate the Early Diversion Coalition and document activities to support collaborative decision-making.
• Lead the SIM-based Community System Mapping process and assist in developing the regional Early Diversion Plan.
• Develop and maintain relationships with behavioral health providers, law enforcement, EMS, hospitals, schools, and other partners to strengthen referrals.

Education

Masters' Degree in a human services related field

Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field with at least three years of behavioral health experience post-degree
