Job summary

Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks an Early Diversion Program Coordinator to lead outreach, supervise Outreach Specialists, and oversee grant-based program operations within the diversion framework.

The role focuses on strengthening referral pathways, coordinating the SIM-based Community System Mapping process, and ensuring SAMHSA grant compliance while collaborating with behavioral health, healthcare, justice and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services related field, or Bachelor's in a human services field with at least three years of behavioral health experience post-degree.
• MO Class E Driver's License or ability to obtain by start date, and proof of continuous Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for Early Diversion Outreach Specialists, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Oversee program implementation to meet SAMHSA grant requirements and agency policies.
• Coordinate and facilitate the Early Diversion Coalition and Community System Mapping using SIM framework.
• Develop and maintain relationships with behavioral health providers, law enforcement, EMS, hospitals, and community partners to strengthen referrals.
• Monitor program outcomes, data collection, reporting, and quality improvement activities.
