Job summary

The South Central Community Action Program seeks a Teacher Aide in Bloomington, IN to support the Lead Teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate plans for groups of three- to five-year-olds and in providing high-quality early childhood experiences. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Associate’s Degree within two years.
• Skilled in using computers for email, databases, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing daily lessons; prepare room and materials for activities; communicate with children.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in activities and maintain a well-balanced classroom.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and family events; support parent involvement activities.
• Ensure safety, supervise activities, and follow SCCAP policies.
