Job summary

Our client in Grants, NM is hiring full-time Early Childhood Teachers to join a premier preschool. Direct hire, Monday-Friday, year-round schedule. Open Lead Preschool/Pre-K Teacher roles for ages 3–5, with shifts from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Salaries listed as hourly rates with education/credentials impacting compensation. Lead Teachers receive benefits including health insurance, paid time off, holidays, retirement, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• CDA Certification or a completed degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• 6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs; for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must lift infants.
• Must meet background check eligibility.
• Must be at least 18-years-old.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum; maintain educational portfolios.
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Open Positions

• Lead Preschool/Pre-K Teachers: working with children between 3 to 5 years old
• Shift: 7.5 to 8 hours a day between 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

Salary

• Lead Teachers: $17.17 - $25.82 /hourpending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

• REQUIRED Experience: 6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed!)
• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Mustmeet background check eligibility
• Mustbe at least 18-years-old
