Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting is seeking a caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join a premier preschool in Socorro, NM. The Floater Teacher will work with children aged 6 months to 5 years old, with shifts from 7:30am to 3:00pm or 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, year-round.

The role includes planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining portfolios, and collaborating with staff to ensure a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 6 months of experience working with children.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must meet background check eligibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Employer provides training and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum, and maintain educational portfolios.
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Our client is looking for a caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join their premier preschool in Socorro, NM. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-months to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Open Positions

• Floater Teacher: must be willing to work with all age groups from 6 monthsto 5 years old and the shift will be 7:30am to 3:00pm or 3:30pm, Monday through Friday

Salary

• Floater Teacher: $14.30- $17.17 p/hourpending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

• REQUIRED Experience:6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed!)

Qualifications - All Positions

• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Mustmeet background check eligibility
• Mustbe at least 18-years-old
