Job summary

Wyoming Child & Family Development in Casper, WY seeks a Support Paraeducator to assist the classroom teacher in implementing an early childhood program focused on social readiness and emotional regulation. You will support play-based learning, provide individualized activities, and help create an inclusive space for young children.

You will collaborate with families and staff, adhere to Head Start standards, complete paperwork, and assist with group activities, diapering, feeding, and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be 18 years of age.
• Must attain additional training or certifications per Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc.

Responsibilities

• All duties will comply with Head Start/Early Head Start standards and WCFD policies.
• Provide care based on knowledge of child development and growth.
• Deliver direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Assist children in developing social competence and emotional regulation.
• Support IFSP and/or IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and families.
