Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is seeking a part-time Support Paraeducator (10 hours/week) to assist in implementing an early childhood program. You will support social competence and school readiness, focusing on emotional regulation, positive social skills, and foundational academics through play-based activities.

The role requires completing assigned tasks per regulations and collaborating with teachers and families to create an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must work with children from birth to five years old and their families.
• Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor are essential.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices is required.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in implementing an early childhood program.
• Support social competence and school readiness through play-based learning.
• Provide targeted support to children with emotional or developmental needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and therapists to support IFSP/IEP goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom and complete required paperwork.
