Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree or higher or 60 college credits preferred.
• ParaEducator or ParaPro exam required to achieve Highly Qualified status.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor students in classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and transitions to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Assist teaching staff with collecting observations, maintaining student data logs, and organizing instructional materials.
• Help implement student programs and accommodations (IEP, behavior plans) as directed by staff.
• Assist with personal care needs of individual students while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records per FERPA and district policies.
• Communicate with supervising teachers and administrators about student progress and concerns.
