RSU 57's Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program serves children ages 3–5 who are receiving special education services. The ECSE Coordinator and Case Manager provides leadership, collaboration, and coaching to support staff and ensure high-quality, inclusive programming for our youngest learners.
The Coordinator oversees the implementation of instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, maintains compliance with state and federal special education regulations, and serves as a central liaison between families, school teams, and outside agencies. The position also includes building-based support and coordination of educational technicians, with a focus on ensuring smooth transitions from Early Intervention into public PreK settings.

Compensation: Annual salary range of $49,000–$88,477
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the School Board's policy on evaluation.
The employee must be able to: Sit, stand, climb stairs, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, push, and pull. Lift 25–75 lbs (depending on student size). Perform other physical tasks as required.
