Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education Assistant for New Hope Learning Center or district buildings as determined by leadership. The position is seven hours per day, including 6.5 paid hours and 30 minutes of unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credits (60 MN credits) or an associate's or higher degree, or passing ParaPro/Paraeducator assessment.
• Experience with students with cognitive/disabilities preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with physical tasks.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork required.

Responsabilités

• Assist daily classroom prep, setup and cleanup.
• Foster a positive learning environment for academic, social, and emotional development.
• Interact with children and maintain positive relationships.
• Support teachers with data collection and classroom systems.
• Ensure health and safety by following program standards.
• Assist with guidance and supervision as directed by staff.
• Collaborate with all classroom staff and respect family diversity.
