Job summary

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to lead on-site technical assistance for QUALITYstarsNY participants across New York. You will develop and manage QIPs, coach program leaders, and collaborate with regional teams to drive continuous quality improvement.

The role requires a Master’s degree in early childhood fields, 6+ years in mentoring or teacher preparation, and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in early childhood education, administration and supervision, or child development.
• At least 6 years of experience in mentoring and/or early childhood teacher preparation.
• Knowledge of NYS early learning documents and Core Body of Knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site technical assistance and mentoring to program leaders aligned with QUALITYstarsNY standards.
• Maintain Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) and monitor progress for participants.
• Prepare updates for supervision meetings and plan regional events and recruitment efforts.
