School of Rock in Media, PA is seeking a Childcare Music Instructor to guide 4-7 year olds in Little Wing and Rookies programs. You will create a warm, supportive environment where kids explore rhythm, melody and rock instruments while building confidence.

The role emphasizes engaging lessons, documenting progress for parents, and helping recruit and enroll students. Part-time with some weekend availability, you’ll blend performance-based teaching with playful, developmentally appropriate

Formación

• 4+ years’ experience teaching or performing music professionally.
• Experience working with children under seven.
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design.
• Proficient on at least one instrument.
• Strong communication with parents and customers.
• Flexible, patient and positive demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Maximize music instruction quality through private lessons and shows.
• Ensure students learn fundamentals, not just songs.
• Create and document thoughtful lesson plans.
• Communicate progress with parents after lessons.
• Assist in rehearsals and school maintenance.
• Support in recruiting and enrolling students.
