Job summary

Amarillo College seeks a TSR Coach to support implementation of the Texas School Ready Comprehensive Model. You will provide side-by-side coaching, co-teaching, and reflective feedback to educators, using data to drive instructional decisions.

Role includes classroom observations, lesson planning, and ongoing professional development to strengthen program outcomes. This grant-funded position requires travel between sites and collaboration with CLI and district staff.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Preferred: Master's in related field.
• Valid Texas Driver License with clean three-year record.
• Experience: 3+ years teaching preschool/early childhood.
• Experience: 3+ years coaching or mentoring adults.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CLI and site staff to implement Texas School Ready.
• Provide side-by-side coaching, modeling, and feedback to educators.
• Conduct classroom observations and use progress data to guide planning.
• Develop lesson plans, schedules, and instructional strategies.
• Utilize coaching tools and program assessments to evaluate progress.
• Deliver professional development activities and trainings.
• Maintain grant records and required documentation.
• Travel frequently to provide coaching at multiple sites.
