Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking dedicated early childhood educators for the AVH site. The role focuses on providing nurturing, play-based learning that supports children's development and family partnerships.

You will guide curriculum, track outcomes, and ensure safe, engaging daily activities within a collaborative team. The position offers full-time, hourly, non-exempt status with extensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017, or equivalent experience/education.
• Minimum 9 credits in related coursework or 1000 hours of supervised child care experience.
• Knowledge of child growth and development.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs; creative teaching strategies.
• Ability to form developmentally appropriate relationships with children.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates Youth Development Outcomes.
• Respond to interests and needs of individual children; encourage exploration.
• Plan curriculum to meet youth needs with emergent curriculum elements.
• Maintain health and safety of all members and track outcomes.
• Oversee program goals; ensure safety and compliance with policies.
• Use observation notes for curriculum planning and data-driven decisions.
• Supervise and support staff, volunteers, and practicum students.
• Coordinate communication with families and staff; open meetings.
