Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire seeks an Early Care and Education educator for AVH’s center. You will deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based learning and support children's growth at a busy community site.

Responsibilities include curriculum planning, safety, and family communication, while supervising staff and volunteers. Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017 or have equivalent childcare experience.
• Requires CPR and First Aid certifications per licensing requirements.
• Knowledge of current teaching methods and curriculum development.
• Ability to plan, implement quality programs and motivate youth.
• Strong communication with staff, families, and community.

Responsibilities

• Create environments that support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Respond to individual children's interests and needs with positive guidance.
• Plan curriculum with emergent elements and document observations.
• Maintain safety, health, and safety standards for all members.
• Track program outcomes and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise staff, volunteers, and practicum students; provide feedback.
