Job summary

ECS4Kids in Ocala, FL is seeking a Teacher I to provide a warm, nurturing classroom where children develop language, cognitive, social, and emotional skills. You will implement developmentally appropriate activities, follow approved lesson plans, and support centers-based learning under supervision.

You will also partner with families, document observations, and uphold safety, health, and accreditation standards while fostering positive guidance and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 45-hour training required.
• National CDA credential or state-awarded certificate meeting CDA requirements.
• Ability to engage with families and work in a diverse community.
• Commitment to Head Start/Early Learning Outcomes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and routines.
• Follow daily schedules and approved lesson plans with fidelity.
• Support in-group activities and center-based learning centers.
• Maintain observations and communicate progress with families and staff.
