ECS4Kids (formerly Episcopal Children’s Services) is seeking dedicated early childhood educators to provide a developmentally appropriate, nurturing classroom experience in Florida. The role focuses on language, cognitive, social and emotional growth, with emphasis on family partnerships and documentation of child progress.

The position requires DCF 45-hour training and appropriate Teacher II/III/IV qualifications, including preschool experience and coursework in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• DCF 45-hour training and one of the following Teacher II/III/IV qualifications.
• Teacher II: an associate degree in child development/early childhood education or 30 credits in early childhood education with 4 months preschool experience.
• Teacher III: a bachelor’s degree in child development/early childhood education or related field with specific early childhood coursework and 4 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive educational programs.
• Lead learning times aligned with CLASS philosophy and best practices.
• Maintain attendance, student records and comply with governing standards.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support each child’s progress.
• Coordinate health, safety, and daily routines to ensure a supportive learning environment.
