Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• One year of general experience working with children; group program experience with children/youth.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds; indoor/outdoor duties.
• Ability to pass Tier 1 background investigation and state checks.
• Ability to pass Civilian Medical Clearance Examination.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes appropriate early childhood education experiences to promote healthy development.
• Develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum with staff.
• Maintains a safe, organized program environment and supports positive interactions.
• Assists in providing and leading planned activities for children and youth.
• Interacts with staff, parents, and the command; completes required daily reports.
