Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education required.

• Inupiaq language/history & culture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain competency in subject matter areas of certification and assignment.
• Employ assessment methods to identify student proficiency and plan programs based on data.
• Promote cooperative relationships with students, parents, supervisors, and community members.
• Support District goals as defined in the Strategic Plan.
• Participate in educational committees and organizations for personal growth.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education

Master’s Degree preferred

Alaska Teacher Certificate

Three years of experience in education

Inupiaq language/history culture experience preferred
