Job summary

Partners In Development seeks a dedicated professional to collaborate with the teaching team for a Family Child Interaction Learning (FCIL) program. You will support site setup, co-teach lessons, and prepare materials across multiple program sites.

You will implement lesson plans, lead classroom instruction, and coordinate monthly field trips while ensuring timely reports. The role also involves engaging families, developing culturally relevant curricula, and safely operating a company vehicle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field and six (6) months of experience working with keiki ages birth through five and their families
  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field and one (1) year of supervised experience working with keiki ages birth through five and their families
  • Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and one (1) year of supervised experience working with keiki ages birth through five and their families

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the teaching team to deliver a high-quality learning environment for a FCIL program
  • Support the teaching team with proper setup and breakdown of site, co-teach lessons, and prepare materials
  • Implement lesson plans, facilitate classroom instruction and learning experiences at program sites
  • Coordinate and schedule monthly field trips, and ensure all required reports are completed and submitted by expected deadlines
  • Model, teach, and engage with enrolled families in a professional manner that encourages caregivers to be their keiki’s first and foremost teacher
  • Facilitate team meetings to develop high-quality, culturally appropriate lesson plans for keiki ages birth-five years old
  • Collaborate with the Curriculum and Development Specialist to implement curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and culturally relevant for children and caregivers
  • Operate assigned company vehicles safely and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
Current CDA Credential
