Job summary

MAOF seeks an Education Coordinator for FCCHEN to coach and monitor Family Child Care Providers and Education Specialists across counties. The role ensures implementation of best practices in early childhood education while complying with federal and state regulations.

It is a full-time on-site position with travel to provider sites as needed. The coordinator will develop high-quality educational services, promote school readiness, and support professional development for providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Must possess a Child Development Teacher Permit (or higher) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education, including curriculum development, classroom management, or family childcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of FCCERS and DRDP and related program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide program oversight and ensure files meet regulations.
• Coach, mentor and train FCCH providers and education staff.
• Facilitate professional development and trainings.
• Lead family and community engagement activities to support PFCE plans.
• Coordinate administrative tasks and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
