Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a CFCE Specialist to lead weekly parent/child drop-in playgroups and literacy-rich activities for families with children aged 0-6 in our community. The role emphasizes strengthening parent-child relationships and kindergarten readiness while delivering programming in South Hadley.

Schedule varies and may include evenings and weekends. You will also manage program tasks such as family registrations, data collection, ASQ screenings, monthly reports, and communications like

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (in progress acceptable).
• Minimum of two years experience with parents and young children.
• Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and postpartum issues.
• Ability to establish rapport with diverse families with empathy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly parent/child drop-in playgroups and early literacy activities.
• Strengthen parent-child relationships and kindergarten readiness.
• Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities.
• Conduct community outreach and provide resources/referrals.
• Oversee program tasks: family registration, data collection, ASQ screenings, monthly reports, and communications (newsletter/social media).
