Job summary

The Children’s Home Society of North Carolina is seeking a HealthySteps Specialist to educate and support parents of children aged 0–3 within a pediatric setting. You will partner with physicians and nurses to coordinate care and provide guidance on child development and family resources.

You will conduct screenings, support care plans, and facilitate parent education groups. Occasional evenings, weekends, and travel in Guilford County may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Child Development, Psychology, Social Work or related human services field.
• Preference given to licensure to practice in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-office visits with parents, caregivers and young children (0-3).
• Coordinate developmental and behavioral screenings and track progress in checkups.
• Provide anticipatory guidance on early learning, sleep, feeding, etc.
