VOALA seeks an enthusiastic Co-Teacher for Head Start/ Early Head Start in Paramount, CA. The role supports children's development through varied activities in a nurturing environment, incorporating family involvement, health services, and nutrition in daily learning.

The position requires fingerprint clearance, TB test, vaccinations, and the ability to assist in a dynamic classroom with double sessions. Strong communication in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
• TB clearance within 6 months.
• Annual influenza vaccination.
• Pertussis and measles immunization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to develop social, emotional, intellectual, and physical skills.
• Drive morning and afternoon sessions with double classes.
• Integrate Head Start services, including parent involvement, nutrition, health, and mental health.
