Job summary

Mid Florida Community Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to provide mentoring and teaching support to improve classroom quality at Spring Hill Head Start in Spring Hill, FL.

The role runs Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, with a focus on growth and child readiness outcomes. Responsibilities include observing teachers, coaching for improvement, and linking staff to curriculum resources while maintaining confidentiality and program integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in early childhood education or equivalent field.
• Five years of preschool teaching or administration experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Asesses classroom teachers using the Teaching Strategies Fidelity Tool and CLASS observation tool three times a year with coaching.
• Develops individualized mentoring plans based on observed strengths and challenges.
• Builds relationships with staff to support coaching and reflection for improved classroom practices.
• Maintains confidentiality of observations and related information.
• Links teachers to resources for curriculum implementation and child outcomes.
