Job summary

Mid Florida Community Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Early Head Start teacher at Spring Hill Head Start to guide learning for infants, toddlers and two-year-olds in a developmentally appropriate classroom.

You will partner with families, conduct screenings, prepare daily plans, document progress, and ensure safety and health standards while delivering nurturing, structured activities in a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Education: National CDA with Infant/Toddler Endorsement or FCCPC.
• Experience: Two years in child education, care and service or related field.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable; within 18 months of employment, obtain Director’s Credential.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an open, friendly, cooperative relationship with each child and family.
• Guides children in developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds.
• Plans activities, conducts developmental screenings, and completes documentation for parents and guardians.

Education
