Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities and Cadence programs. You will help create a safe, nurturing learning space that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and behavioral development, including those with IEPs.

Under the direction of the School Director, you’ll assist with Cadence programs, safety compliance, and communication with families. A $500 bonus offer after 90 days of service is available for a limited time.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety procedures (Name-to-Face accountability, food allergy processes, Safe Sleep).
• Collaborative classroom team player.
• Able to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment, treating each child with care, dignity, and respect.
• Greet children and families daily; build professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs; follow IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual; document and report accidents/incidents.
• Assist with managing, documenting, and reporting escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development, which may occur outside regular hours.
