Easter Seals New Hampshire, Inc. seeks an Associate Teacher to support center-based learning for children, partnering with Lead Teachers to implement age-appropriate curricula and foster growth in all domains.

You will develop family partnerships, provide responsive care, and contribute to a safe, trauma-informed classroom under NH licensing and NAEYC standards. The role is full-time with an 8:00–5:00 schedule in Manchester, NH; wage $18.50–$24.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must be able to obtain 12 early childhood education credits, including 3 in childhood growth and development, within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain and maintain NH Early Childhood Professional Development credential within 12 months of hire.
• Experience working with children of all abilities is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Individuals with CDA's strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Teachers to develop weekly plans and implement age-appropriate curriculum.
• Provide responsive care and balance individual and group needs.
• Maintain a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom environment reflecting children’s learning and growth.
• Perform ongoing developmental evaluations and align with curriculum implementation.
• Support classroom management and improve the physical environment to meet changing needs.
• Ensure a safe, developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed care environment compliant with NH CCLU rules and NAEYC Accreditation.
