Job summary

Easterseals NH is hiring an Associate Teacher for our Manchester childcare program. The role supports development of children’s growth and collaborates with Lead Teachers to deliver engaging daily plans and family involvement.

Full-time position with standard 8:00–5:00 hours, Monday through Friday, and potential schedule adjustments based on program needs. A competitive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Must obtain 12 ECE credits within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain NH Early Childhood Professional Development credential within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with children of all abilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Teachers to plan weekly lessons and implement age-appropriate curriculum.
• Provide responsive care and adapt routines to individual and group needs.
• Create an inclusive, developmentally appropriate classroom environment reflecting children’s learning and growth.
• Perform ongoing developmental evaluations and align with curriculum to address each child’s needs.
• Partner with Lead Teachers to manage the classroom and enhance the physical environment.
• Ensure a safe, trauma-informed care setting in line with NH CCLU rules and NAEYC accreditation.
