Responsibilities

• Supervises children to ensure safety.
• Ensures classroom meets local licensing standards.
• Works collaboratively with the teacher to assess learning/development needs and to develop age appropriate learning solutions.
• Attends periodical staff meetings.
• Assist the teacher with implementing the teaching schedule and curriculum.
• Follows accreditation and licensing policies and practices.
• Assist teachers with course progress report procedures.
• Applies knowledge of learning principles to engage the children in appropriate activities.
