This role participates in a 12-month Leadership Development Program in the health care payer space. The program builds a foundation in strategic thinking, communication, leadership and project management. Participants gain hands‑on experience supporting strategic projects across multiple business and functional areas. Depending on placement, work may include Value Based Care, Pharmacy, Network Strategy, Individual and Family Markets and related enterprise priorities.

Currently pursuing an MHA, MHSA, MPH, MS-HSM, MBA or similar master's degree with an interest in health care management and strategic planning.

Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Experience interacting with personnel across departments and at various levels of an organization.
Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.

Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office products.
Preferred: health insurance or health care industry experience or a strong interest in the industry.
Participants hired into the Leadership Development Program also participate in HCSC's enterprise New Grad experience, which complements role-specific development during their first year.
Formal New Employee Orientation to build business and industry acumen.
A six-month enterprise development experience designed to support the transition from school to the workplace.
