Job summary

CDM Smith is looking for an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This role offers early-career candidates the opportunity to apply their engineering skills to innovative and sustainable water projects while building technical expertise and growing within a dynamic team.

In this role you will support the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years travel may be required; travel up to 40% is possible.

Responsibilities

• Support site assessments, field investigations, and project studies.
• Assist with design development and adjust design parameters based on project requirements and field findings.
• Perform water quality analyses, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and other engineering analyses.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, presentations, and other deliverables for client meetings and industry conferences.
• Use ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel and other engineering software to support project design and analysis.
• Coordinate in-office and in-field activities to support rehabilitation projects.
• Participate in fieldwork and construction management activities across the project lifecycle.
