Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking an Early Career Technologist to help develop and support software applications and AI-enabled platforms. You will work in an agile environment, building scalable, secure solutions and learning modern software practices.

The role is hybrid in the United States with in-office presence at least three days per week. The salary is $76,000 annually, with potential short-term incentives and stock-based long-term incentives, plus a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• Internship or academic project in software development or AI/ML.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills to deliver high-quality software.
• Understanding of cloud-native technologies and databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and refining product requirements and user stories.
• Support design, development, testing, and deployment of full stack software applications (UI, API, Data) with AI tools.
• Participate in peer reviews of code, solution designs, and configurations.
• Help investigate and resolve production incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify innovative solutions.
• Contribute to integrating AI capabilities into applications (GenAI APIs, ML models).
