Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, CA seeks a W87-1 Flight Test Vehicle (FTV) System Engineer to join the team responsible for integration, assembly, testing and flight verification of the W87-1 system with USAF assets. The role encompasses ground and flight testing, requirements development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across hardware, software, and mechanical domains.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance.
• Graduate degree and NSE lab experience are highly desirable.

Mansioni

• Design and develop test equipment, subcomponents, cables and hardware for Flight Test Vehicles.
• Assist with requirements development and verification across multiple engineering domains.
• Support assembly, calibration, troubleshooting and operation of test equipment and instrumentation.
• Identify root causes of anomalies in testing and support mitigation strategies.
• Develop automated test solutions and data processing for flight test data.
• Collaborate with SNL Systems Organizations and partners to execute flight test plans.
• Analyze test data to inform design decisions and program direction.
